Friendly monks will be happy to explain daily living of monks, training at Koyasan temples and important teachings of the esoteric Buddhism brought by Kukai, as well as deepening your understanding of Koyasan’s history and culture.

Let’s learn the esoteric teachings that have been protected 1200 years through the conversation with the priests and experience the teachings in the nature of Koyasan.

On this occasion, please feel familiar with the monks that you don’t come into contact with everyday, they will politely explain the lives of priests in temples, that people can not normally see, and useful teachings for your future life.
